Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, and time to treatment is critical in determining survival. For those who recieve CPR or defibrilation in the first 3-5 minutes after collapse the survival rate is over 50%1,2, while the chances of successful resuscitation decrease by 10% for every minute post-collapse3. Ambulance response times for a Category A incident (including cardiac arrest) are subject to an 8 minute target, but thanks to modern traffic even this is difficult to achieve sometimes. By ensuring that adequate first aid and CPR facilities exist on-site, survival rates can be as high as 74%1 transforming your staff, family, friends or customers' survival chances from practically none to better than 1 in 22. Our first aid training incorporates the latest Resuscitation Council (UK), European Resuscitation Council and ILCOR guidelines, and uses a modern multimedia approach to ensure that training is serious but fun. What's more, we incorporate oxygen administration and the use of automated external defibrilators (AED's) into all our courses as standard, giving you the maximum value for your training spend - and the greatest chance of helping a patient in distress.

Taught by instructors with real-world experience in providing first aid and emergency care in settings including hospitals, ambulances and remote environments, all our courses adhere to the latest syllabus guidelines of the Resuscitation Council (UK), European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). With clients including pharmaceutical companies, industrial and manufacturing companies and medical personnel, you can be sure that the training you'll get from first aid people is second to none, fully up-to-date (especially important if you have a legal duty of care in your working role) and delivered by instructors who can tailor your course to your needs.
